I don't feel the public is ready for a openly gay rapper especially if their songs revolve around that fact. Ha @ the video and the lyrics. After giving it little thought I slightly disagree with you about the song/presentation/etc. To me, it really is no different than any other rap song out there right now that is talking about what a man is diggin', what he wants to do to it and all of that. The only difference is that this man is talking about what he is diggin' in another man vs. what other rappers dig in women. Right?

Rap is pretty much down hill these days anyway with its lyrics, so if dudes can get away with talking about how they wanna recruit girls and sell them on craig's list, I think this dude should be free to talk about how he's addicted to boys, and how much he likes big dicks, lol. Either way, it ain't gonna be for everybody, as much rap ain't for me, but hell, its gonna be for some and that's who will ultimately be feeling him and his music.

I think just because of the homophobia in hip hop as it stands right now, he'll definitely have a hard time crossing over, but perhaps that's not his focus, I don't really know. What I do know is that there is a market for his music because he's not the only openly gay rapper. There is already a movement, its just one that rests within the queer community instead of mainstream.
